Initiative Kiel-Canal e.V. is an association established in late 2012. Its objective is to bundle the voices speaking a favour of the Kiel Canal and to communicate their message to politics, administration, authorities and to the business world. The work of Initiative Kiel-Canal e.V. aims to ensure the integrity and future viability of Kiel Canal, and to retain it as an attractive, capable waterway open for customers from all over the world. Membership in initiative Kiel-Canal e.V. is open to commercial enterprises, to public institutions, Chambers of Commerce, territorial authorities (municipalities, etc.), confederations, associations, public / statutory bodies – and to private citizens of any nationality.
